James Robert Nettles, Jr.

My nephew, James Robert Nettles, Jr. was born at 9:40 pm on May 29th. He was 5 lbs. 12 oz., 19 inches long and handsome! Sarah and Jamie are doing well and are so excited that he is here! He was three weeks early. Most of the family was able to be here and we were all at the hospital for about 12 hours until James arrived. We had fun just hanging out, spending a little time with Jamie and Sarah, eating and playing with Grady. He was a trooper the whole day and never cried until around 11 pm that night just before we left to go home. He was working with only one hour of sleep that day, so I don't blame him. We can't wait to get back up to the hospital later today and see him again! More pictures to come soon!

Waiting, waiting . . .

Grady wanted to talk to Mason on Aunt Irene's phone.

Sad that he doesn't have the phone anymore.

Grady couldn't decided which one to eat. Which one will make me grow shorter?

Will this one make me grow taller?

I'm just going to be safe and eat my carrots!

Some of us took naps to pass the time. Grady stayed awake to hear the news that James was born, then about 5 minutes later he passed out asleep.
