A Clemson Football Weekend!

This weekend was the first home Clemson game. We spent the weekend in Spartanburg with Richard's family and took Grady to the game on Saturday. Thankfully it was a 6 pm game. We tailgated with our college friends, visited Aunt Irene and enjoyed watching the game. We were unsure how Grady would do, but he did great the whole game. This year we requested our tickets be on the top row, under the overhang. It was perfect because we didn't get wet during the rainy second half and Grady had room to play since we were on the very top row. We will see how the noon game goes in two weeks!

Grady was so happy to see Aunt Irene!
But then Nana walked up and it was all over. He wanted no one but Nana. He didn't even want me!

Cousin James came to his first Clemson game!
Papa with his boys!
Grady was very jealous that Nana was holding James. He wanted her all to himself.

He was sleepy, but stayed awake the whole game. I wish he would have slept so I could have watched more of the game.

Meme was in Spartanburg and came to visit us on Sunday morning.
Grady practiced his walking with Meme.
Grady walking around. He is taking many steps on his own now, but he mostly walks between things that are only a few steps away.
Grady went swimming with Uncle Jamie. The water was freezing and only Jamie was brave enough to get in. Grady didn't act like it was cold at all. This is what Grady wanted to do the whole time. Thanks Uncle Jamie for swimming with Grady and teaching him how to swim with a kickboard!
A video of Grady swimming with Uncle Jamie. Pause the music on the right to hear.
