Richard and I have been married for 6 years and this summer we welcomed our first child, Grady, into our family. For those that know us well, you know that this has been a long awaited miracle! We have been wanting children for a few years and finally after our first round of invitro, many prayers and a miracle from our Lord we became pregnant with Grady. The pregnancy was not easy as I developed rheumatoid arthritis around 12 weeks. It was very hard, but completely worth it! Thankfully all those symptoms have disappeared since Grady was born! Then ten days before Grady was due his fluid was low, so I was enduced. 24 hours later I was making little to no progress, so I had a c-section and Grady was born nine days early! Our family and many friends joined us those first few days to celebrate Grady's arrival and here are some pictures from our hospital stay. He was born on July 31, 2008, was 7 lbs. 5 oz. and 20 inches long.

Ok I like this blog! I just don't see you, Grady and Richard as much as I'd like :) Aunt Sarah!
Yeah! So glad you joined the blogging world! I have thought about you SO many times, but my cell is still very finicky and it frustrates me to try to be on the phone with people that I rarely get to talk to...
Hope you are enjoying your time at home and I would still LOVE to come visit soon. Been having issues with the van, so haven't done any weekend/road trips lately.
