Clemson vs. TCU

Yet another wet and cold Clemson game. We just bundled up and put on a smile! Grady and I are waiting for the players to come down the Tiger walk! We hope to see Mason! Here they come!
There's Mason!
Yeah! Grady was high-fiving all the players!
Back at the Nettles' tailgate with Aunt Irene, Amanda and Sally.
Richard, Papa, Grady, Aunt Irene and Uncle Gene
Grady and Nana
Grady and Aunt Rosanne. He wanted Nana SOOOO bad!
Reeeaaaalllllyyyy bad....
Did I say really, I mean seriously he wants his Nana!
He did love Melanie's pin or it could be that she's pregnant with identical twin girls! He's already flirting!
Grady loves to play with Daddy!
So excited that Daddy is going to "get him!"
A video of Daddy getting Grady! Pause the music to the right.
As we were walking to the game Aunt Rosanne and Uncle Gene called and were able to get us box seats! YEAH! It was much easier on me since Grady could run around and be out of the bad weather.
Snuggling with Aunt Rosanne and being much nicer to her! He does love you!
Grady wanted to climb the steps over and over again. Who was I kidding by thinking I would actually get to watch the game from the box.
Me chasing Grady!
YEAH, he finally decided to take a nap! I was pushing him in the hallway for about 20 minutes. I passed about 15 other moms doing the same thing when suddenly one of the moms starts pointing at him and whispering "he's asleep, he's asleep," as if I had won a million dollars! I felt like I did because then I could go and sit down to rest for about thirty minutes before he woke up again.

Playgroup Reunion!

Grady and I miss our weekly playdates with Kristen, Jake, Lisa and Lauren, but we have been trying to get together at least twice a month at night. We had everyone (including husbands) over to our house about a month ago. It was a lot of fun watching the kids play and the ladies made a batch of carmel petit fours. I made the cake way too thick, so our cute petit fours looked more like leaning tower of Pizas! It was fun and at least the cake tasted good.
Jake taking Lauren for a spin on the race truck!

Big baby in a little basket!

The weather has been so nice and so we met Jamie, Sarah and James at our neighborhood park to hang out a few weeks ago. Grady was running all around and having a blast. Sarah and I were talking and not paying much attention to Grady (I should have been). I knew he was playing with James' stroller, but then when I looked to check on him this is what I saw! We were all laughing so hard! When got him out we saw a sign on the basket that said, "max of 5 lbs!" Haha! Grady beat that by nearly 20 lbs! Kids are so fast and get into everything...literally!
Trying to get out!
Happy we took the carrier off.
Playing with James.
Grady kept interrupting Jamie and Richard's games.

James' Baptism

James had his infant baptism on September 20th. We were so happy to be able to be there and celebrate with Jamie and Sarah. It was a very special day!
Richard, Grady, Jamie and James
I know Jamie's eyes are closed, but this picture of James was too cute! Look at that adorable smile! Plus, Grady was smiling and actually looking at the camera.
The happy family. This time last year, at Grady's baby dedication, Jamie and Sarah shared with us that they were pregnant with James! Time has flown by!Jamie and Sarah had a big and delicious lunch for us at their house. Here is Grady getting some snuggles with Papa.
Now he wants Nana!
Tommy and Susan (Sarah's siblings) made this cute cake for James. It was delicious!

Clemson vs. BC

What a rainy season it has turned out to be for all of our home games! Thankfully it didn't rain the first half of the BC game. I was able to stroll Grady for his nap during halftime and visit some of my friends. Then, Richard came down for a little bit and we got a family picture at the rock. Tailgating before the game with Aunt Irene, Nana and Papa.
Playing with Nana's sticker.

Flying with Papa!

Mason is on the jumbotron! Go Mason!
Grady was not too happy. It was nap time!
Flirting with the ladies in the box seats!
Watching the balloons!

Our second quarter entertainment...visiting Addie and Katy! Yes, we have a Clemson stroller! =) My sweet sister, Beth, gave it to us! We love it!
Dancing to the music! Aunt Irene came to join us since our seats were out of the rain.

Fun with Cousin James

I have gotten VERY behind on posting, but I hope to catch up this weekend. About six weeks ago we got to babysit our nephew James. We were very excited to keep him and Grady always loves to see James. They were dressed alike in their "I'm in Charge" outfits and we finally got some pictures. Yes, Grady was barely squeezing into his and it was the last time he got to wear it. We were very surprised that Grady didn't try to grab James hard or slap him. He is just usually so rough and doesn't understand gentle. Thankfully Grady was very sweet and let us get some good pictures and a video of the two of them.
Most of the time Grady just sat and smiled at James with his hands in his lap.
Trying some gentle touches. James looks a little unsure.
I was trying to get him to do pat-a-cake instead of touching James.
I can't wait until James is older to poke back! Those two will be wrestling each other soon.
Giving a kiss to James.
A little video of James and Grady. Pause the music on the right.
