Army Crawling

Around 6 months Grady would army crawl in circles to get his toys. Then at 7 months Grady started army crawling backwards and was really fast on the hardwood floors. Then, the week before he turned 8 months old he started army crawling forwards. He is getting faster every day. He tries to get up on all fours, but still needs a lot of practice with that. Here are some pictures and videos of him crawling. He often got stuck under the leather chair when he was crawling backwards.
Crawling backwards. At the end he gets frustrated and lays down to rest with what else - the thumb!
A weeks later here he is army crawling forward.
Grady got an adorable card from Meme and Ditdough, my parents, for Valentine's Day. He still loves to play with the card, although two weeks ago it ripped in half and doesn't work anymore. Kids love those musical cards!

Blessing

I just wanted to give a shout-out to my sweet sister, Bonnie! She is such a blessing to me! Everytime I have to go in for my remicade treatments she takes care of Grady for me! I drop him off around 8 am and come back around 12:30. I hope you know, Bonnie, how much I appreciate you keeping Grady for me to go get my remicade infusion! A big thanks to Troy too for sharing you with Grady!

Playgroup with Gracie and Andrew

A few weeks ago I was able to meet up with my friends Jessica and Bridget. I was so excited to meet Jessica's new baby girl, Gracie. She is adorable! I also loved seeing Andrew again.

Going for a walk! Grady cried the whole time. It was time for a nap and he wanted to be rocked.

Charleston

Grady and I went to Charleston after the farm weekend. My Dad took lots of cute pictures of Grady, Anna, Kate and Asher, but for some reason the blogger won't let me upload them. My computer guru husband promises to help me get them on here soon!

Together at Last!

Recently we met up with all of our college friends at Blackwell's farm in Newberry. The highlight of the trip was that Peachy and Porter would be here from Texas with their new son, Rhett. We were all so excited to see them and meet Rhett! We didn't want our time to end and had a blast catching up with everyone. I especially loved getting to have more time with our God-daughter, Addie. Conversations with 2 1/2 year olds are always hilarious!

Cousin Troy

Aunt Bonnie and cousin Troy came over recently to visit. We took the boys for a ride in the wagon to the playground. Of course I left my camera at home, so I only have pictures of them playing in the den. Grady just loves Troy and lately he smiles and laughs at every little kid or baby he sees! He's definetly a social baby! Hmmmm, wonder who he could get that from! haha!
Grady's hair is a little greasy here from the suntan lotion!
Troy looking adorable!
Troy is always so sweet and gives Grady toys to play with when he can't reach anything.

7 Months Old

Grady turned 7 months old recently and I was able to get some really cute pictures of him. He continues to grow so fast and is doing new things every day! He is now making sounds other than dadadada! He says bababa, ppppp, fffff and etc. He is rolling everywhere and can army crawl in a circle and backwards, but not forward. We're working on that. He is loving his baby food, we just have to hold his right hand while he eats so that he doesn't suck him thumb between every bite!
So I switched to this cute outfit from my Mama and he wouldn't even look at the camera. He just wanted to eat his toes! So I called Richard over to help me get him to smile.
Oh hey Dad! Is that you up on there!
Yeah! I'll look at you, but not Mama!
This is the reaction he gave me when Richard stood behind me! So cute!

Dad is SO funny! Too bad I didn't have someone else here to take pictures of what Richard was doing to make him laugh!
