Grady is a very heavy sleeper, but somehow moves a lot while he sleeps too. When I put him down for a nap the other day he was like this. When I came back to check on him later he had rolled over and rotated 180 degrees and somehow rolled his blanket up and wrapped it around the top of his head. He did all this while he was asleep because I heard nothing on the monitor. Of course his thumb is in his mouth in both pictures!

Grady's First Haircut!
Last week Richard gave Grady his first haircut! The hair in the center of his head was getting much thicker and longer than the rest of his hair and it was starting to look like a mohawk. Richard didn't want Grady to end up with what we called a reverse comb-over, so we got the clippers out. Grady was very still while I held him and didn't budge while Richard trimmed it up. It just looks like all of his hair is the same length now. The first two pictures are before shots and the last two are after shots. Not Grady's best pictures, but they show the hair well.

8 Months Old
Grady just turned 8 months and I of course tried to get some pictures of him at 8 months. It didn't work so well at first, but we ended up outside in the wagon (one of his favorite things to do) and I got some good pictures. He is about 20 pounds and growing so fast! He loves to eat if you can't tell from the belly and is getting faster and faster at crawling. Everytime I look down he's nearly across the room. He also got his first haircut from Dad and I'll post on that soon!

Army Crawling
Around 6 months Grady would army crawl in circles to get his toys. Then at 7 months Grady started army crawling backwards and was really fast on the hardwood floors. Then, the week before he turned 8 months old he started army crawling forwards. He is getting faster every day. He tries to get up on all fours, but still needs a lot of practice with that. Here are some pictures and videos of him crawling. He often got stuck under the leather chair when he was crawling backwards.
A weeks later here he is army crawling forward.
Grady got an adorable card from Meme and Ditdough, my parents, for Valentine's Day. He still loves to play with the card, although two weeks ago it ripped in half and doesn't work anymore. Kids love those musical cards!
Blessing
I just wanted to give a shout-out to my sweet sister, Bonnie! She is such a blessing to me! Everytime I have to go in for my remicade treatments she takes care of Grady for me! I drop him off around 8 am and come back around 12:30. I hope you know, Bonnie, how much I appreciate you keeping Grady for me to go get my remicade infusion! A big thanks to Troy too for sharing you with Grady!
Playgroup with Gracie and Andrew
A few weeks ago I was able to meet up with my friends Jessica and Bridget. I was so excited to meet Jessica's new baby girl, Gracie. She is adorable! I also loved seeing Andrew again.
The kids in awe of the star mobile!
Charleston
Grady and I went to Charleston after the farm weekend. My Dad took lots of cute pictures of Grady, Anna, Kate and Asher, but for some reason the blogger won't let me upload them. My computer guru husband promises to help me get them on here soon!
